"Pokémon GO" fans are already highly anticipating Generation 2 of the successful augmented reality game. The next generation is reported to provide additional evolutions to Pokémon. However, nothing has been made official, but these are said to be happening by 2017.

Generation 2 is reportedly bringing in an additional 100 pocket monsters to the games, and more evolutions for the most popular Eevee, which will evolve into Espeon, the Psychic, and Umbreon, the Dark type. Particular hours of the day are said to affect the transformation of the creature and will also cost 25 Candies to evolve, similar to its current rate, according to Ranked Boost.

For the statistics, Espeon's max CP is 1,911, attack at 204, defense at 171 and 130 for its stamina. Umbreon, on the other hand, has 1,938, 141, 255 and 190, respectively. Sakura/Sayo is the trainer of Espeon while Gary Oak owns Umbreon, based on the anime series. Espeon is a very loyal companion and a great protector to their trainers, while Umbreon always hides in the dark and waits for its foes silently.

Meanwhile, a rare Pokémon called Blissey is rumored to be the next evolution of Chansey which players can evolve for 50 candies, and it will have a max CP of 921, attack of 69, defense of 88 and stamina of 510. Additionally, Porygon will evolve to Porygon2 with a maximum CP of 2,290, Scyther will have Scizor with max CP of 1,910, and Onix will evolve to Steelix with a max CP of 1,754. There several more included on the list of possible Generation 2 evolutions.

Additionally, a fan also shared on Reddit on what could come out of the eggs if hatched on different distances when the next generation arrives. The fan-made chart showed Pichu, Togepi, and Hoothoot, among others for 2 km eggs. Chinchou and Delibird, among others, could arrive from hatching a 5 km egg. A hatched 10km egg could give Elekid and Mantine.

"Pokémon GO" Generation 2 is rumored to arrive in 2017. However, the developer, Niantic, has not issued an official statement as of now.
