'Pokemon GO' cheats, tips, tricks: players without official app can now use alternative tracker apps

Niantic has released its own tracker app for the "Pokémon GO" Sightings and Nearby tracker. Many have received the new app, some have even got two, while others may not have received anything at all.

For those who have not received any tracking app, these are some of the alternatives:

PokeLive app allows players to create another account that one can use to track these pocket monsters. Players will be alerted when a Pokémon is nearby and displays the time remaining before it leaves the spot. The app allows a player to look for a specific Pokémon.

PokeGear GO allows a player to locate a Pokémon by simply tapping the image Pokédex. The app provides direction where a pocket monster will be located next. It also provides the time within the app. The PokeGear GO app can also provide directions to where the pokemons are located in the map and lets players of the game know the time a pokemon can disappear or despawn.

PokeMesh is another great tracking app for "Pokémon GO." This app is known for being able to find 30,000 pocket monsters per minute, and just like the others, it provides direction and the time duration a player have before a Pokémon disappears.

However, nothing beats Go Radar in terms of the number of Pokémon it can find around the world, 140,000.

Meanwhile, players are highly advised to use the Lucky Eggs that can be purchased in the "Pokémon GO" Shop using PokéCoins. This consumable will allow a player to gain twice the amount of XP for all actions for 30 minutes. Its effect can also be seen when using Incense and Lure Modules.

Players should have plenty of Poké Balls as well, which can be gained via Poké Stops or through the Shop.

Last but not the least, a tip from players on Reddit's The Silph Road thread mentioned 100,000 XP points to be had for using one Lucky Egg in evolutions. A strong Wi-Fi connection is needed on this one. First thing to do is to choose the Pokémon one would like to evolve, label them as "Favorite." Lay down the Lucky Egg and evolve the chosen Pokémon. The players must then stop the game by using the "Force Quit" or "Force Close" technique. Run the game back on.

This trick will lessen the evolution time for the process. Some players have claimed that they can evolve four to five Pokémon in a minute, as long as no internet connection problems occur during the process.
