"Pokémon Shuffle" will be presenting players with a number of events this month of October.

It's not at all unusual for "Pokémon" games to have events dedicated to certain Pokémon being made available, and that same approach has been applied to "Pokémon Shuffle."

Fortunately for players, it appears as though the month of October will be providing them with ample opportunities to grow their stable of Pokémons even more.

The first event set to take place in October is actually one that is continuing from September. The Pokémon Pinsir event began on Sept. 29 and will be running through the second day of October. Players who participate in the event will be given the opportunity to catch the bug type Pokémon known as Pinsir, although they have to capitalize on their chances as they can only take part in the event once per day, according to the International Business Times India.

Next up on the calendar is the Escalation Battle event, according to Siliconera. In this event, players will be given the opportunity to catch the legendary Pokémon known as Latias. As the name of the event implies, the chances of nabbing Latias will increase as players progress through the event. After finishing its 50th level, they will even receive the Latiasite Mega Stone. This event has already started and will wrap up on Oct. 12.

Also on the October calendar is the Keldeo event. As the name suggests, players participating in this event will be able to catch the water type Pokémon known as Keldeo. "Pokémon Shuffle" players who first started the game on the Nintendo 3DS may have already gotten this Pokémon when it was part of a similar event earlier on, although this is the first time Keldeo will be made available for the mobile version of the game. This event will end on Oct. 5.
