The second half of the sixth season of "Pretty Little Liars" promises to be a change of pace for fans of the series as it will feature a five-year time jump that will see Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell) out of college and having new jobs and relationships.

As the girls will be all grown-up when the show returns to ABC Family, there has been talk that the series is nearing its end and some of the cast members have even said that the show will only have seven seasons. But now, it looks like the ladies' adventures won't be ending on the small screen as executive producer Marlene King recently revealed that there are plans for a "Pretty Little Liars" movie.

At the 40 for 40 livestream for "Good Morning America" (via E! Online), King talked about a possible movie and said that they had "really big ideas" for the film.

"But that won't happen right after the series ends," she said. "I think we'll take a little break and let everybody go off and do a few things and hopefully we'll come back together again and do something really special."

The producer also talked about the show's special episode titled "Five Years Forward," which will air next week. King said that the special will "fill in the gaps" about what happened before the time jump.

"We're giving fans a lot of information about what happened between the last time you saw the pretty little liars and when you're going to see them in the future," she revealed.

TVLine reports that the girls' new careers and love interests will be revealed, and two never-before-aired scenes will also be shown in the episode. Fans will also get a quick tour of the new sets, as well as explanation about the ladies' new looks.

The "Pretty Little Liars" special will air on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 8/7c, while the second half of season 6 premieres on Jan. 12 at 8/7c on ABC Family/ Freeform.
