'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers: Series creator promises a 'fast-paced ending' in new episodes

Now that fans of "Pretty Little Liars" already know who was behind the murders and all mayhem in Rosewood, they have to wait for the show's season 6 to discover what's next for the liars.

It is unfortunate that discovering "A's" identity did not get the girls out of trouble. They actually ran into more, especially because they tried to escape in the finale episode of the thriller's fifth season.

Charles DiLaurentis turned out to be the bad guy, the one who devised every murder and trouble that plagued and continuously afflicted the liars. His motives are still unclear, however.

Thankfully, "Pretty Little Liars" writer Maya Goldsmith provided some answers, as fans have burning questions such as Charles' drive, Mona's faked death and her plan to return a hero, and what Detective Tanner's real intention is. In an interview with Bustle, Goldsmith kept mum about Charles' true identity but gave an insight about the theories that focus on mining everything about the accused DiLaurentis.

"You can never rule anyone out [as an A suspect] because A always has ways of monitoring one situation and being somewhere else, so no, you can never rule anyone out," Goldsmith said. "We will spend some more time in the dollhouse [next season]. The time period is very compressed, over a period of weeks, so the urgency is very heightened."

Marlene King, creator of "Pretty Little Liars," personally told E! Online what comes next after the big revelation.

"The fallout of what they go through definitely leaves them scarred and in need of healing and rebonding with the families and their bed buddies and their loved ones," King shared. "[Season 6] is really about answers and closure for all of them. It is an ending to the story that we started so long ago, but it's a very fast-paced ending to the story."

"Pretty Little Liars" will be back with season 6 in June.
