With the return of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 within spitting distance, more teasers are being dropped to keep the excitement and the curiosity close by. A new teaser sees Emily catch up with her mom and her relationship with Greg, which isn't going very good, as it turns out.

"We're taking a little break... It was just time for a break," Ms. Fields said when asked about Greg. Before Emily can bombard her with follow-up questions, she suggested that they talk about it over tea. From the looks of it though, Mama Fields is yet to move on from her husband's death.

In the same "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 promo, Emily's attention turned to a flag that hang by the window of the house. She tapped it gently and smiled as it presumably reminded her of her late father, whose death will make everything more difficult for Emily.

Apart from the status of Emily's mom's relationship, Emily herself will be a walking mystery when the show returns. As show creator Marlene King has teased, she has the biggest secret to cover up among the liars. King spoke more about that to Variety.

"She really has two secrets. One of the secrets informs the other," the program creator stated. "Over the course of the time jump, her father passes away unexpectedly and she will have a really difficult time dealing with that," she added.

The latter half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 sees the reunion of the girls after five years. The liars return to Rosewood and reunites with Alison, who is a teacher there, to attend a hearing involving Charlotte.

It has always been teased that before the season ends, the girls will find themselves in a new and a much worse kind of danger as they fall in the hands of a new adversary that is more brutal and ruthless than A.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 resumes on Freeform with an episode titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood" on Jan. 12.
