'Pretty Little Liars' season 6B photos: Team share photos on Instagram as filming wraps up
It will take a while before "Pretty Little Liars" returns on air for the second half of season 6, but the excitement for the upcoming episode 11 has already started to build up.
After leaving Rosewood at the end of episode 10, Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily will return to their old high school to rescue their friend Alison from another danger. While the plot for the upcoming episodes are still under wraps, the show's cast and crew keep their fans updated by sharing photos and clips happening behind the camera.
Over the weekend, actress Troian Bellisario posted a photo taken with the "Pretty Little Liars" staff after her final scene for season 6 as Spencer Hastings was taped. The character seems to look more sophisticated and mature with her new bangs and subdued, corporate fashion sense.
Meanwhile, Ashley Benson shared a photo of her with series creator I. Marlene King and Shay Mitchell while celebrating the end of the season as Hanna Marin. The photo shows the three having sandwiches and avocado toast. Mitchell shared a photo of her and the rest of the girls as she bade goodbye to her character Emily at the end of the season 6 production.
But while the three Liars uploaded photos of their last production day for "Pretty Little Liars" season 6, Lucy Hale opted to share a throwback photo taken six years ago. In the photo, which is one of the first few taken of the girls together, the Liars posed with Sasha Pieterse's character Allison.
But probably the most talked about Instagram post about "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 was posted by its series creator. King shared a behind-the-scene photo taken during the filming of the new "PLL" opening sequence. Fans were thrilled to see Pieterse with the rest of the Liars in this scene as her character was enclosed in a casket in the opening sequence used in the past six seasons.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 6B will premiere with episode 11, titled "Of Late I Think of Rosewood," in January 2016.
