Mona is back! 

The original 'A' might have been killed during the midsummer finale of "Pretty Little Liars" season 5, but it does not mean that she will not be around Rosewood anymore. Earlier spoilers have pointed out that the brainy character will appear in the Christmas special of PLL, which will be aired on Dec. 9, but new reports say that she will also appear on the final episode this season. 

Janel Parrish, the actress who plays the role of Mona Vanderwaal, posted the confirmation on Twitter on Nov. 12, saying, "Back to work. Missed my PLL fam! Glad to be back this week." 

Although Mona will return as a ghost, fans are still thrilled to see one of their favorite characters back from the grave.  Will the next episodes explain why Mona died, who killed her, and who the new 'A' is? 

Meanwhile, more spoilers have been leaked by the show's producers during the past couple of days. One of the most intriguing teaser was mentioned by PLL writer Maya Goldsmith, who tweeted on Nov. 11 that a Liar will showcase her dance moves. 

"Whoever loves @shaymitch (Shay Mitchell) you DO NOT want to miss episode 521. Girl will knock you out with how gorg she is dancing. It's unreal," Goldsmith said. 

Mitchell's character Emily Fields will reportedly join the Rosewood High Cheering Squad. The reason is still undisclosed, but fans are speculating that she might be trying to infiltrate the squad to get more information about a cheerleader, who could possibly be Allison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) herself. 

Finally, the winter premiere date for the fan-favorite teen mystery drama thriller had already been revealed. 

The show will return on Jan. 6, and it will immediately tackle the impact of Mona's death once the winter season begins. It also means that Emily, Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Spencer Hastings (Troin Bellisario) and Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) will have to find out who the real 'A' is.
