Gaming industry giant Ubisoft has revealed that it will have a special reveal on expansion content for its "Rainbow Six Siege" shooter today.

The announcement posted on Twitter includes a link to Ubisoft's Twitch channel, where the reveal is supposed to be proclaimed. The broadcast is also expected to be simultaneous with the launch of the Pro League livestream on the same channel.

Meanwhile, although it is still unclear what the reveal will be, it is already established that the second expansion content for "Rainbow Six Siege" is on its way and will drop before the month ends. In a schedule revealed by Ubisoft, the second DLC is slated to be released this month. However, although there already is a planned rollout, there is a slight chance that the second DLC will be delayed.

Ubisoft scheduled the first DLC, "Operation Black Ice," to drop at the start of the year. However, the first expansion update for "Rainbow Six Siege" was delayed. Instead, "Operation Black Ice" was released in February. Ubisoft has yet to announce if the delay of "Operation Black Ice" will have effects on the rollout schedules for succeeding DLC packs, seeing as there is a definite two-month period between the updates.

As for the second expansion update, fans are expecting that the content will be similar to the structure of the "Operation Black Ice" DLC, with the addition of at least two new operators and a new map area. Rumors suggest that the new content for the second DLC will center on United States, with the operators coming from the U.S. Special Forces. It can also be expected that the second expansion update will add a number of new in-game items like weapon skins, as well as tweaks and improvements in gameplay and mechanics.
