'Real Housewives of Atlanta' season 7 cast: Porsha Williams demoted, new housewife Claudia Jordan hits it off with Kordell

The executive producer of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Carlos King, sat down for an interview with Perez Hilton to dish out a plethora of information about the upcoming season. One of his many revelations includes Porsha Williams' demotion in the show.

"I don't hire nor fire housewives or demote them for that matter! But Andy Cohen spoke about Porsha's demotion and he specifically stated that it was a decision made from the network due to the lack of personal story info that Porsha was offering this season," King told Hilton.

But he was also quick to add that in the new season, fans can expect more of Williams.  He gave an assurance that the lady will be very visible and "is all over this season."

Meanwhile, new reports suggest that Williams' demotion resulted to a bigger opportunity.  According to Media Take Out, the reality TV star was immediately signed on to do her own spinoff show.

On the other hand, Claudia Jordan will join the "RHOA" ensemble. When asked about her, King answered that the dynamic was "changed in a good way" because of her.

"Claudia is a well known TV personality/comedian who has an organic friendship with Kenya so she brings that to the table. She's beyond funny and has a great back-story being a biracial beauty so there's definitely layers to Claudia. Plus, she's able to stand on her own two feet with the rest of the girls which is also dynamic to watch," King explained.

Fans should also gear up for a lot of "cozy" between the new housewife and William's ex-husband Kordell, which indicates two things: trouble and Kordell's stay in the show. Demetria McKinney will be added to the cast as well, but she will be more of a guest and a "friend to the show."

Tune in to Bravo on Nov. 9 for the premiere of the new season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta."
