This week on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Meghan Edmonds did some detective work to find out if Brooks was telling the truth about his health condition. Vicki immediately jumped to her man's defense as Brooks confronted Meghan at Shannon Beador's Aries-themed party. 

Meghan met Heather Thomson for drinks and she told her all about her stepdaughter Hailey throwing a party while she and Jim were out of town. Meghan said that the house was trashed, but as she was the stepmom, she really couldn't do much about it. Shannon arrived, and Meghan told the camera that she's happy that they were able to settle their past issues and are now friends. 

Meghan couldn't shake the feeling that Brooks was hiding something about his cancer, and she told Shannon and Heather that she decided to investigate further to see if he was telling the truth. She said that she called Brooks' doctor, pretending to be a patient, and she found out that the doctor did not treat the kind of cancer that Brooks said he had — in fact, the doctor doesn't treat cancer at all, as he isn't an oncologist. Heather recalled that Shannon got Brooks to get in touch with a friend of hers — a doctor — who Shannon said did lectures all over the world about lymphoma. That time, the doctor was in the country for a short time and agreed to see Brooks, but Shannon said Brooks never visited the doctor. He claimed that he was on his way but two of his tires were flat. 

At Shannon's party, Meghan told the ladies that she got in touch with one of Brooks' ex-girlfriends, and that the woman said that Brooks lied about having cancer before. Meghan said Brooks knew that she reached out to his ex-girlfriend, and later, he came over to ask Meghan if he and Vicki could talk to her and Jim. 

Brooks got right to the point and mentioned how Meghan was talking to his ex-girlfriend, and Meghan talked about what the psychic said about Brooks' cancer situation being "wishy washy" and she also brought up how Brooks said that he was stopping chemo. Vicki told her to give them a break.

"If there's a question mark anywhere, I'm going to find those answers," Meghan said. 

Next week, the episode starts where it left off, at Shannon's party, and Vicki and Brooks leave early as the other ladies question his behavior. Meanwhile, Heather and Terry clash over the design for the new house, while Tamra shows her son Ryan the new home that she bought for him in the OC. And Shannon, now of two minds about Brooks's condition, begins to question her friendship with Vicki.
