Real Madrid will play Atletico Madrid on Wednesday in a massive Champions League Quarter Final match up. The first leg finished 0-0, and tonight's second leg will take place at the Bernabeu where Real will want to use home advantage to try and progress to the semi-finals.

Atletico have turned into a type of bogey team for Real, and if they are to turn around their form against their local rivals, Real will have to get the job done without two of their usual forwards. Both Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema have been sidelined for today's game - Bale is out with a calf injury, while Benzema has a knee injury.

However, global football fans will find it hard to feel much sympathy for the Spanish giants, as they still have Cristiano Ronaldo, Javier Hernandez and Jese Rodriguez available to complete their frontline.

The amount of firepower that Real possess is truly breathtaking but that doesn't dampen the fact that in recent history, more often than not Atletico have managed to blunt the Real forward threat, and have successfully closed down the Real attack. That will be a major concern for Real, and they will be hoping that Ronaldo and co. will be able to find a way through a resolute Atletico defence.

Real will also have to be tight at the back. With the first leg ending goalless, that means if Atletico can claim an away goal they will progress with any score draw.

Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has said ahead of the game: "I have the best squad in the world and it is important to focus on the players who are going to play and not on those who are not playing. The answer will be to play fresh players, who are enthusiastic, fit, and who can help the squad."

Ancelotti also addressed the fact that Real have not been able to defeat Atletico yet this season, saying: "We have not beaten Atletico this season because they are a very strong side with one of the most solid defences in the world. It is difficult to score goals against them.

"It will be a close game, hard-fought in all areas and intense. I do not think that Atletico will be in a hurry to score and neither will we."
