Game developer Rockstar Games recently released the first trailer for their upcoming game, "Red Dead Redemption 2." Eagle-eyed fans were then able to make a connection between certain parts of the trailer to an alleged game map that was leaked previously.

A Reddit user yuv912 posted a screenshot from the trailer that possibly matched an area on a leaked map that was posted on NeoGaf around half a year ago. The area circles the Aberdeen Farm House, which is surrounded by train tracks, and traveling north from it will be the Cumberland Forest. The clip in reference is around the 37-second mark that shows a small farm house, a train track and a large tree cluster up far north.

Another image coming from the same post showed another similarity between an area on the trailer and the leaked map, near the MacLeans House, which is near the winding river. The cabin on the trailer has a different spot compared to the map, concluded to be the result of the ongoing development.

Meanwhile, the upcoming open-world western action-adventure game will be released on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it will have an online multiplayer mode aside from the single player story mode. Additionally, once the game is released, PlayStation 4 players will have early access advantage over Xbox One gamers when its DLC arrives, although no further details were provided by the announcement over at the PlayStation Blog.

Game fans are also petitioning that the upcoming game be released on the Windows PC. The first release was not ported to the computer system, and now, PC-based fans do not want to miss out the fun again. After just 20 hours, there were already 12,500 supporters, now it has already gained more than 40,000 petitioners.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" will launch in fall of 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
