Resembling Christ Jesus

"The Kingdom of God does not come with careful observation, now will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

Luke 17:20-21 NIV

Today's passage is talking about the one issue that Jesus spoke of the most about during his ministry; the kingdom of God, how are we supposed to get there?

|PIC1|Here, Jesus is giving this very precious message to the believers...

'Look here, look there' - Would the kingdom of God come to you in this way? Rather 'The kingdom of God is within you'...

Is it inside of your ministry? Or inside your mega church?

Today, Christ is allowing us to realize something much deeper, and we have to realize this, in order to bring God's Kingdom closer to us.

So then it says here, to seek his kingdom within you, every hour, every day, every single moment.

Do I have this short temper? Am I anxious about my work and finances? This isn't the image that God wants us to resemble. rather resembling the image of Christ, the image of emptying out and serving others.

Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness...

Philippians 2: 6-7

Christ became a true servant for man, and every time we hear this, it comes as a great challenge...

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

Philippians 2: 1-3

Can we have this same image? This same love? We surely need to become more Christ-like, and know that truly...when I capture it back...this is when God's Kingdom will come.

Only looking at myself, only looking inside of me, can we truly have the hope in reaching God's Kingdom.
