"Resident Evil 7" from Japanese game developer and publisher Capcom is reportedly set for release in the coming fall, about the same time that "Halo 5: Guardians" from 343 Industries will come out. Despite the simultaneous release, gamers are not expected to be divided considering both games target different niche markets.

"Resident Evil 7" hopes to recall the games after the forgettable sixth installment did not exactly live up to the series title's usual billing. And with three new characters headlining "Resident Evil 7", hopes are high that the upcoming game can indeed recover some lost glory.

Alice is believed to be one of those characters, a return alongside two unconfirmed female characters as well. Chances are the official word on the rumored coming of "Resident Evil 7" will be formally announced at the upcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 event next week.

Aside from the latest updates on "Resident Evil 7", Capcom has likewise lifted the covers on "Resident Evil 0 HD". The game, which is a remastered version of the famed 2002 survival horror game, will boast of improved graphics, sounds and widescreen support. It is anticipated to be released in early 2016 with versions for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

The storyline for "Resident Evil 0 HD" will reportedly pick off from the series of events in Resident Evil. Among the rumored characters starring in the said game include Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen.

Per rumors, both characters will team up to try and survive a virus caused by a zombie outbreak.

The game will allow players to switch between the two characters, each armed with their own special set of skills. It will also give the gamers the option to play both characters individually or simultaneously, venturing out to explore the gaming world.

Hence, there are two games to look forward to from Capcom. Both "Resident Evil 7" and "Resident Evil 0 HD" are expected to be showcased at E3 2015 next week.
