Fans are about to see Dr. Maura (Sasha Alexander) in a very compromising situation in the upcoming episode of TNT's drama "Rizzoli & Isles."

Spoiler TV reports that in Episode 5, entitled "Misconduct Game," the chief medical examiner will be suspended from her position following a suspicion that a crime tech in her team has tampered with evidence for BPD cases. The situation will get worse after the tech is found murdered. Jane (Angie Harmon) will do all it takes to catch the killer in order to clear the department so her partner can be reinstated.

The show's promo also offers a bit more insight on what will happen in the upcoming episode. In the clip, Maura is seen carrying a box of her personal belongings while informing Jane that she has been suspended. The homicide detective shows her full support for Maura. Determined to prove her innocence, Jane will be seen engaging in a fight to obtain information.

Catermatt says Episode 7 will be one of the most "action-packed and intense episodes" that viewers have seen so far this season and that Maura's suspension will "shake things up in a pretty significant way." The website thinks that her break from work is temporary, however, and that she will be back doing what she does best in no time. 

Last week, the dynamic duo solved a case involving a major art heist. The murder victim was a notorious European art thief wanted by the FBI and other authorities around the world. In the warehouse where the body was dumped, they found upholstery tags and paint flakes.

Upon investigation, the team found a lapel sticker of Boston Museum of Art on the thief's jacket. Although no paintings had been reported missing, they connected the dots and assumed that an original work of art was switched with a forged piece. 

With Susie Chang's (Tina Huang) help, they managed to trace the name of the painting and its anonymous owner. The paint flakes that they got from the warehouse exactly matched those on the counterfeit. When they finally unearthed who the killer was, he decided to kill himself.

Meanwhile, Jane finally knew that the name of Angela's (Lorraine Bracco) secret boyfriend was Ron.

"Rizzoli & Isles" season 6 episode 5 airs at 9 p.m. Tuesday on TNT.
