More leaks on the refresh of the Samsung Galaxy A lineup continue to crop up. The latest leak gives users an update on the Samsung Galaxy A9, which recently paid a visit to Geekbench for a benchmark test and showcased some of its specs in the process.

It was revealed there that the forthcoming smartphone will have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 for a processor. It has an Adreno 510 graphics processing unit and 3 GB RAM to boot. All that allowed the device to garner 1446 points during the benchmark test.

The prototype during the test had Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It's unclear if it will get Marshmallow when it's made available for purchase.

As for some of the specs that weren't mentioned, reports claim that the Samsung Galaxy A9 is getting either a 5.5-inch display or a phablet-sized 6-inch touchscreen. Whichever ends up on the handset, word on the street is that it will get full HD quality.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Galaxy A lineup, including the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) and A5 (2016), were recently certified by Federal Communications Commission, making them ready for a U.S. release.

Other than the nearing launch, the handsets' stop there showed off the Galaxy A5's generous battery upgrade.

The larger of the two handsets was revealed to boast a 2,900-mAh unit, which is 600 mAh bigger than the one on the original. GSM Arena points out that even with only 2,300 mAh in tow, the battery life was already impressive. This upgrade should make the handset more powerful.

As for the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), the device recently starred in leaked live images photo with the Galaxy A5. The photos shows off their new glass backs, sleek all-metal builds and fingerprint sensors.

All these smartphones should show up soon. How soon remains to be seen.
