Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is finally here after the South Korean company took the wraps off the device at their presentations at the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin.

The tech giant skipped revealing the price and release date of its new phablet. It sparked predictions that the handset will be released next month. However, an internal memo for Samsung employees leaked online prohibiting the filing of vacation leaves between Sept. 15 and Sept. 28, which suggested the time period for when the phablet will hit the carriers and retailers.

In the U.S., the device will hit the shelves and will be available for $300 with a two-year contract. Below are the top five features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that ruled the company's presentation at the IFA 2014 event.

Metal Body

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 followed the lead of its cousin Galaxy Alpha and packed a metal frame on the edge paired with a plastic back. A year ago, many Samsung fans were disappointed with the faux leather casing offered by the Galaxy Note 3.

Quad HD

Samsung did not increase the screen size of its new phablet as it offered the same 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen panel, however, it now offers a quad HD (2560x1440) pixel resolution.

Processor

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be available in two variants packing different processors. One is powered by the quad-core 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor while the other variant includes a 64-bit enabled octo-core Exynos 5433 chipset with quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex A57 and quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A53 CPUs.

Camera

Samsung's new phablet packs a 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), phase detection autofocus, LED flash, Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, panorama, HDR, and support for 4K video recording. The handset also packs a 3.7 MP front-facing camera with Wide Selfie panorama mode.

Battery

Samsung gave the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 a slight bump on the phablet's battery life. The device is supported by a 3,220 mAh battery with a fast charging function that charges 50% in 30 minutes.
