While Samsung has yet to confirm its release, speculations have already circulated online about the next Galaxy Note. According to a new leak, the new flagship will indeed have a dual-edge display and will be called the "Galaxy Note 7 Dual Edge."

According to Sam Mobile, a 3D render of the next Galaxy Note has been uploaded online, and the render lends credence to previous rumors about the new flagship. Reportedly, the upcoming Galaxy Note will feature a dual-edge display. While the leak has not been confirmed by Samsung, the industry follower believes that there is a good chance that it may be accurate since the leakster has had plenty of spot-on predictions in the past. In addition, a dual-edge display for the next Galaxy Note is certainly plausible given that Samsung wants to release a flagship with heavily upgraded features and specs sheet.

Meanwhile, it is still up in the air if Samsung will be skipping versions for its next flagship. According to rumors, the South Korea-based tech conglomerate will call its next flagship lineup "Galaxy Note 7" instead of the expected Galaxy Note 6. Speculations suggest that Samsung is thinking of streamlining its flagships for naming convenience. Since its other flagship line, the Galaxy S series, is already on its seventh generation, a Galaxy Note 7 will certainly fit this.

Aside from naming convenience, it is said that the next Galaxy Note will have advanced features that it may need to "skip" names. Some of the purported cutting-edge features and specs for the new Galaxy Note include at least 6GB of RAM, 256GB of expandable storage and a new display technology.
