The highly anticipated release of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge under Verizon had finally arrived on Nov. 19, several days later than the other network carriers in the U.S.

The limited edition concept phone from the South Korean brand is considered as a high-end smartphone because of its state-of-the-art specs and groundbreaking curved Quad HD resolution screen. 

Verizon Wireless released the new Samsung flagship phone several weeks after the network carrier released its signature, exclusive smartphone from Motorola dubbed as the Moto DROID Turbo. This equally impressive device features a lot of unbeatable specs that could surpass those offered by other smartphone brands. 

But which between the two new smartphone devices from Verizon Wireless is worth checking out?  Here are the specs and features of both smartphones: 

Device measurements and screen resolutions 

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge smartphone comes with a curved 5.6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with fingerprint senson that measures 151.3 x 82.4 x 8.3 millimeters and weighs 174 grams. The screen features 1600 x 2560 pixel resolution with 524 ppi pixel density. It also includes an S Pen stylus inside its package. 

Meanwhile, the exclusive Moto DROID Turbo comes with a slightly smaller 5.2-inch Moto Display Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that features 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution with 565 ppi pixel density. It has a 143.5 x 73.3 x 8.3 - 11.2 splash-resistant body that weighs 169 grams.

Internal specs

Both the Galaxy Note Edge and the DROID Turbo are equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, a quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450, and Adreno 420 GPU. They are also running with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system software, but can be upgraded later to the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Both smartphones also have the same 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory variants with 3 GB RAM, yet the Samsung-manufactured device comes with a microSD slot for memory expansion up to 128 GB, while the MOTO DROID Turbo has none.

Camera

If the Galaxy Note Edge comes with an impressive 16-megapixel primary camera with autofocus, optical image stabilization, and LED flash, the DROID Turbo comes with a more astounding 21-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash and autofocus functions.

However, the secondary front-facing camera of Samsung's limited edition phone is better, with its 3.7-megapixel capacity, while the DROID Turbo only has a 2-megapixel camera.
