Based on the rumor mill, Samsung's Galaxy S6 is going to exude a whole new makeover in terms of aesthetics, and it is also expected that the device will be made out of a glass panel that will feature a ring of metal around the edges. Previous flagship offerings of the Galaxy lineup of smartphones allowed Samsung to cut corners by incorporating a sub-standard plastic exterior that makes the devices feel downright flimsy, even if they were assimilated with the latest chipsets and hardware specifications. 

Similar to the Galaxy Note 4, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is also expected to radiate a Quad HD display, which will translate to a 1440 pixel resolution. In addition, the device is also said to be shipped out in two chipset variants, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and the company's own Exynos chipset. The Galaxy S6 will also be equipped with a redesigned finger scanner and it is rumored to house 4 GB of RAM. 

Since the processor inside the Snapdragon 810 supports 64-bit architecture, not to mention that Google's Lollipop 5.0 supports the same architecture, the Galaxy S6 will be able to accommodate 4 GB of RAM, which is the limit to the amount of memory that 32-bit operating systems can recognize in any machine. Besides the two chipset variants, it has also been rumored that Samsung will be rolling out a Galaxy S6 Edge variant, a device that will feature not one but two curved edges, compared to the single curved edged display present on the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. 

While there have been a myriad of rumors concerning Samsung's latest offering, the South Korean phone giant has not brought out its device to the spotlight. It is expected that the company will be unveiling its flagship device alongside competitor HTC, who plans to regain its former glory with the release of its One M9 device. Both companies are predicted to be present at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona, and both the Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9 will finally be unveiled to the technological populace at the event.
