What exactly has Samsung have planned as far as the rumored Samsung Galaxy S7 is concerned next year?

Word has it that the Korean-based company is hard at work improving its performance, hence, focus on the CPUs behind the next set of smartphones. But the question is, what central processing unit (CPU) are they going to use?

It was believed that Samsung was working on a couple of CPU cores (Exynos 8890, Mongoose) to enhance their device's performance, but new info bares that the company is instead planning to launch three different processor variants for the Samsung Galaxy S7.

It is believed that Samsung could very well launch a Samsung Galaxy S7 variant running on an Exynos 7742 for the Indian market; an Exynos 8890 to be offered in Japan, Korea, and European markets; and, finally, an 820 SoC made for the China and U.S. market.

This stands to be the first time that Samsung would offer a flagship phone running on different CPU cores though all of this remains a rumor until officially confirmed by the Korean-based company.

Aside from that, other features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 could be uniform. This includes possibly coming out with curved and flat screen display variants as well as provisions for a microSD card slot which heavy storage-crazy users should be glad to note.

Other than that, all other information on what else the Samsung Galaxy S7 could offer remain scarce, but hopefully the device will be something special since Samsung is, of course, trying to recover from poor sales of previous devices.

Chances are the Samsung Galaxy S7 could make an appearance at next year's Mobile World Congress or at least by the first quarter of 2016.
