More and more information about Samsung's upcoming flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8, hit the web, the latest of which pertain to a triple camera system.

According to Patently Mobile, the first camera on the Samsung Galaxy S8 will "expand and capture images of regions of the eyes of the user."

The second lens is expected to support wide-angle capture specifically to "capture an image of the face of the user." It is expected that the iris scanner coming to the Samsung Galaxy S8 will take advantage of these lenses.

Meanwhile, it is also rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S7 successor will also come with Virtual Reality or VR support with its purported 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display expected to come at 4K resolution as well.

Just recently, Samsung unveiled a prototype of the Bio Blue 4K Ultra High Definition display, which is expected to debut on the Samsung Galaxy S8.

It comes with 806ppi pixel density and is most suitable for VR headsets, thanks to its lesser brightness. This display is also touted to reduce blue light levels to only 6 percent.

On the other hand, it is also being reported that the rear-facing shooter of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with what is being referred to as Smart Glow.

This feature is wrapped around the lens of the camera and lights up in different colors whenever the Samsung Galaxy S8 is low on battery or if there is an upcoming message or a missed call.

Before the Samsung Galaxy S8 gets this feature, users will first see it in the flesh on the newest iteration of the Samsung Galaxy J7. Upcoming Samsung devices should get the feature as well.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be launched early next year. Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor and 6GB RAM.
