Samsung has also included educational and training apps for their VR gadget. Here are some of them.

House of Languages is perfect for kids to learn a new language or two, in a fun way. Learning is presented in a cartoon-like environment, with a cute raccoon named Mr. Woo acting as the virtual language teacher. One can learn Spanish, German or English. Objects will show up on the top of Mr. Woo's head and the participant needs to find it inside the room they are in. Mr. Woo can also be heard saying the name of the object using the new language.

Virtual Paint, also from the makers of House of Languages, will let one experience painting without using the hands, and will require only head movements. Fox 3D, the app developer, also took into consideration people with disabilities. The studio wants everyone to have a creative outlet.

The company said "Our mission is to give everyone the experience of freedom found in drawing, to feel the unlimited potential of creating unique art with virtual paints, canvas and brush. This is a hands-free application. You do not need a touchpad or controller."

Parents can also share bedtime stories with their kids through Bedtime VR Stories, even if they are apart. The South Korean tech giant knows how important family relationship is, especially to kids. However, hectic work schedules make it impossible for parents and kids to be together all the time, thus, this app will let them interact with each other within the app's VR environment and share bedtime stories.

VR-AR Lab created several interesting apps for the Gear VR headset. If one needs to boost his or her public speaking ability, they can try Speech Center VR. This will put the participant behind a podium in a crowded conference room and let them practice delivering a presentation. The app offers tips and tricks in public speaking.

AltSpace VR is a social networking app in a virtual reality environment: NextVR will let one experience live streaming events in a 180 degree field of view, where one would see it like in the front row.
