Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. recently revealed a pair of new devices in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 at an event in New York.

The two devices are reportedly set to be out by the end of the month, new tickets that can hopefully raise the faltering performance of the South Korean company giant.

Pre-orders for the new devices are already under way in the United States and will start rolling out by Sept. 11, 2015.

At AT&T, folks who are interested in getting the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will need to shell out $739.99 without a contract for the 32GB variant. The price is jacked up a bit at $839.99 for those who want the larger 64GB storage option.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is priced starting at $814.99 for the 32GB variant while the bigger 64GB alternative cost around $914.99. Of the two devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will only be available in select regions. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is pegged for a wider market reach.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ looks fairly similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a wider curved display at 5.7 inches. The Galaxy Note 5, on the other hand, features an improved S Pen to boast.

Both devices have Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and are powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC processor with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz. Both are supported by 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

A 16-megapixel main camera is in tow as well for both, while a 5-megapixel front camera is in place.

As far as storage is concerned, both do not have provisions for microSD card expansion.

Both using 3,000 mAh batteries, the devices boast of Fast Charging Technology (wired and wireless). Wired charging will require only 90 minutes to have the device fully juiced up, while wireless charging will need up to 120 hours to get a full charge.
