Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) will find the strength to get back on track and rebuild her shredded reputation in the upcoming episode of the ABC series "Scandal."

In "You Got Served," the promo released by the network reveals that Liv will enlist help from "an unexpected source" after coming to terms that she cannot salvage her name on her own. The person turns out to be a fellow "fixer," Leo Bergen (Paul Adelstein) and he has some unconventional plans to aid Liv. While on a meeting with the group at Pope & Associates, Leo can be seen explaining his strategy that will guarantee success for her corner.

It appears that to get the public's sympathy, Leo will show Liv as the woman who suffers the most in the "tawdry affair." To do this, he will put her on TV, where she will pour her heart out to the viewers about regretting meeting and loving the President of the United States. Leo's game plan is for them to ride on the nation's outcry of having a leader engaged in an illicit relationship and then show Liv as the brokenhearted damsel. As Leo says, "Everyone loves a love story," but will this actually work?

Last episode, viewers saw Liv being the center of the media's attention after Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) decided to go public with their relationship. The public's reaction was no less than crippling, as people crucified Liv for being the "other" woman. The press enjoyed the scandal, as they aired remarks from the thoroughly disgusted populace. The message boards were full of notes from senders wanting to rape or kill her.

Amidst all the drama and chaos, President Fitz showed up outside Liv's apartment for a date night. It was a risky move, as the press was camping outside. Liv, nonetheless, appreciated her lover's thoughtfulness in showing support for her during these trying times. But if she is happy with Fitz, there was someone who is just waiting on the wings to take him down.

ABC reports that Mellie (Bellamy Young) will team up with Cyrus (Jeff Perry) to get her revenge. She is now conspiring with her fellow female senators to impeach him. Although Mellie promised not to hurt Fitz if he did not cause her pain in return, all thoughts of reconciliation went flying out of her head when her husband declared to the world his love for Liv.

"Scandal" season 5 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
