Pirate-simulator "Sea of Thieves" is a game that many are anticipating as it comes out in the next few weeks. Before then, more and more teaser videos about the game are being released. With a lot of expectations from fans, especially those who have not tried the game in its closed beta, the game is looking to offer a lot of customization options for both the players' crew's ship and their avatar.

Developer Rare has just dropped another trailer focusing on the said customization feature. Those who have been up to date with the game would not find this as something new. Customization features for "Sea of Thieves" were first found when dataminers decided to take a look at the game's folders and saw files for customization.

Now that it is officially here, the options do not disappoint. The video features Sam Chester, the game's lead character artist, and Tim Teddins, Windows 10 design lead. Chester and Teddins talk about the "Carousel" where players get to choose the base model of their characters in the game.

Note, however, that this not mean that players will get to actually create their characters from the ground up. Players will choose from different body types and genders. Of course, they can always choose to change clothes if they wish to do so. There is one for almost every body type so it should not be hard for players to choose as well.

At the latter part of the video, they then show the how players can change parts of their ship. Players can change the figurehead, the design on the sails, color and others. They do mention that while these are just some that players can expect, they will definitely be releasing more when the game fully comes out.

"Sea of Thieves" is set to sail on March 20, 2018. It will be available on the PC via Steam and on the Xbox One.
