Search to find nation's favourite Christmas carols
An online poll will be launched later this month to find out the nation's favourite Christmas carol.
The poll goes live on November 17 and the results will be announced by organiser Premier Christian Radio on December 15.
The top ten will be announced during Pam Rhodes' 'Hearts & Hymns' programme and a list of the top 50 will be posted to the Premier Christian Radio website.
People can cast their votes at www.premier.org.uk/carols using the suggestion list that includes favourites like Hark the Herald Angels Sing and O Come All Ye Faithful.
There will also be a special box for people to include other personal favourites not on the suggestion list.
"While we generally think of the golden age of Christmas carol writing as the Victorian era, many date back much earlier to the Mediaeval period," said Peter Kerridge, CEO of Premier Christian Radio.
"And while most of our firm favourites originated in Britain, international classic like 'In Dulci Jubilo' recognise the worldwide popularity of carols. It will be interesting to see which carols finally make it into our special top ten for 2013."
