Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch is doing great in practice and might be playing in their Divisional Playoffs matchup versus the Carolina Panthers this Sunday.

Lynch missed Seattle's Wild Card Playoffs win over the Minnesota Vikings because, according to head coach Pete Carroll, he was not feeling ready ahead of the game.

But this week, Lynch has already practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday, with offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell impressed with his performance, ESPN reported.

"He looks good. I can't judge each and every day, but probably one of the best days that he had out here today," Bevell said last Wednesday.

"He's in there, he's moving around, he's making more cuts. Probably a little bit more tempo to it as well, so we'll just continue to go day to day with it," he continued.

Lynch underwent an abdomen surgery back in November 2015 which limited him in the 2015 regular season.

The 29-year-old running back continues to have a day-to-day status for the Seahawks, but in a report by NBC Sports, ESPN's Kenny Mayne asked the five-time Pro Bowler how he is and he replied, "I'm ready."

Meanwhile, ESPN added in its report that if Lynch travels with the Seahawks to Carolina ahead of their divisional playoff game versus the Panthers, it suggests that he has made "real progress."

The last time Lynch played for the Seahawks was in a regular season defeat to the Arizona Cardinals in November 2015.

In the 2015 regular season, Lynch was limited to only seven games because of the injury, the fewest in his National Football League (NFL) career since getting drafted in 2007 by the Buffalo Bills.

Being limited, Lynch listed career-lows in carries (111) and yards (417), having only three touchdowns.

The Seahawks are hoping Lynch will return as they aim to beat the Panthers, gunning for a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance this season.
