Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots live stream, preview [NBC TV info, start time]: Seahawks eye NFL History in Super Bowl 2015

With a couple of days remaining, the rightful team to be adjudged the best of 2014 will be known on February 1, 2014 when the Seattle Seahawks collide with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 49.

It is not surprising to find the Seahawks and the Patriots as the last two teams standing and history could be made depending on how the Patriots spoil the party. Apparently the tiff is more important to the Seahawks as they try to make it back-to-back title romps on February 1 and be the ninth team to do so.

But standing in the way is a team that has achieved the feat already, the New England Patriots who did the trick in 2003-04. Other than preventing the Seahawks from making history is the fact that the Patriots are looking to end a decade-long drought of not winning the championship.

On the side, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are aiming to win their fourth Super Bowl ring. Brady stands to join Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw as the only quarterbacks to win four Super Bowl rings while Belichick could join Chuck Noll as the only coach to win four rings.

With an exciting atmosphere expected, it will be interesting to note which quarterback-coach combo will come out victorious in the end. Tom Brady will have to deal with the Seahawk secondary and his continued improvement will be a crucial part for the Patriot's ambitions.

But with the Seahawks being the no. 1 pass defense and total defense team in the league, Brady could be in for a rough game ahead.

Richard Sherman things lowly of Brady and with the aid of other secondary teammates like Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor, expect a little color come the Super Bowl match.

OddShark computer does favor New England to win the game although other critics are divided on the matchup.
