The first season of "Seven Deadly Sins" ended things with shocking revelations and deaths. Fans are pleased about the anime, seeing that it stayed close to the manga by Nakaba Suzuki.

"Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 will likely begin the "The Commandments Saga," which opens with the "Post-Kingdom Infiltration arc" that chronicles the aftermath of Hendrickson's ultimate downfall.

Baltra returns as king over the kingdom once more as the kingdom of Liones has attained peace, which will be short-lived when the ruler learns that a threat looms over Camelot in the form of Albions.

"Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 will also see Ban leave the Seven Deadly Sins and journey to Fairy King's Forest to find a way to resurrect Elaine.

With Ban out, Merlin, who returned with Arthur Pendragon, will join the group. He helps in ridding Camelot of the dangerous Albions with the group.

It is unclear at the moment if "Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 will also have 24 episodes. The number chapters it will cover is also currently.

So far, the manga is done with another five story arcs, which are made up of a total of 77 chapters. There is an ongoing arc, which currently has 17 chapters, bringing the manga six chapters shy of a hundred from where the anime left off.

If there will be 24 episodes for 100 chapters for "Seven Deadly Sins" season 2, it looks like fans will have to wait for just a bit more. New chapters are usually released in one to two weeks with chapter 193 already available.

That being said, "Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 might make fans wait, but not forever. As per reports, a 2017 premiere is likely.
