A trailer for the "Shadow of the Colossus" remake was revealed at Paris Games Week 2017. After more than a decade, the action-adventure role-playing game (RPG), which first came out on the PlayStation 2 in 2005, will be coming to the PlayStation 4 on Feb. 6, 2018.

The remake's trailer was uploaded to PlayStation's YouTube channel on Oct. 30. The trailer features a handful of places for the protagonist to explore as well as updated graphics. Alongside that, the video gives players a glimpse at what's to come in terms of character design and art direction.

An actual gameplay trailer was also uploaded to IGN's YouTube channel on the same day. This trailer features some of the in-game mechanics such as horse riding, and it also gives players a sneak peek at future bosses.

Other gameplay demos are currently floating around YouTube where curious fans can easily get ahold of them.

Gamespot had the chance to play the upcoming game for half an hour and the publication talked about what the remake of "Shadow of the Colossus" is like.

According to the gaming website, the PS4 version isn't a remake of the PlayStation 3 version, but something new. It was also noted how much detail has been put into this game; from the leaves to the water and scenery itself, everything looks stunning.

Aside from the wonderful graphics, one of the things that were also brought up was the familiarity. According to Gamespot, despite the new changes, it still feels very much like the old game and some of the problems from the PS2 and PS3 versions carry on into the PS4 version as well.

"Shadow of the Colossus" has players traveling through a lonely world, they must engage in a series of boss battles that make up most of the game's combat.
