Duty calls for Zachary Levi, as the "Shazam!" star has been spotted wearing his superhero costume for the filming of the upcoming DC superhero movie.

Levi dressed as Shazam! took to Instagram to post a selfie of him in costume, though he only implied that he was wearing it and never actually showed it in public, leaving some fans wondering what it may look like. The 37-year-old actor was actually wearing a black winter coat on top of the costume, concealing it from plain sight.

Levi even teased some of the fans of the superhero with the caption: "Under this cloak...I'm wearing my full Shazam! outfit. Jealoussssssssss???" Fans will have to wait for future set photos in order to see what the costume really looks like compared with the comic book counterpart, but rest assured, the wait may not be too long since Levi wearing the suit is an indication that the production crew could be filming his scenes now. Consequently, a trailer or teaser video may also not be too far off given how fast the filming is progressing.

It should also be noted that principal photography was just announced last week for the movie and it seems that the majority of the production will take place in Toronto, Canada.

It could also be that Levi was just joking about wearing the costume, but he did state that it fits like a glove, meaning the actor will have no difficulty acting in it. As for what it may look like, website CBR has suggested that it may be in line with what Henry Cavill's Superman is wearing, which is a more modern take on the superhero costume — meaning no underwear on top of the suit.

Meanwhile, some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Levi's hair was noticeably darker in the said photo he posted, leading to speculations that he may have dyed it to look more like the superhero Shazam!

"Shazam!" is set to be released on the big screen on Apr. 5, 2019.
