HBO's "Silicon Valley" has already been renewed for another season, but details have been kept under wraps.

The previous season ended with a shock. While the Pied Piper team celebrated their victory against Hooli in their lawsuit, Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), founder of the company, was notified that the board members had voted to remove him from the CEO position. Pied Piper had been taken over by Raviga after Laurie Bream (Suzanne Cryer) bought out Russ Hanneman's (Chris Diamantopolous) shares.

It is unclear what season 3 will bring to the plate. But fans are hoping to see the socially awkward Richard gain the leadership required to lead Pied Piper.

Although not much is known about "Silicon Valley" season 3 plot-wise, new additions to the cast have been confirmed.

Deadline has reported that veteran actor Stephen Tobolowsky will be joining the cast of "Silicon Valley" in a recurring role. Tobolowsky will reportedly play a character named Jack Barker, an "aggressive and formidable Silicon Valley CEO" that Richard and his colleagues will face.

Erin Breen of "Black Dossier" has also been cast in the HBO comedy series' third season. She will portray a character named Jan, who is a newly hired salesperson on the Pied Piper team.

Meanwhile, Middleditch, star of the show, has been busy with other projects. Middleditch is scheduled to appear at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.

Along with Middleditch and Cryer, "Silicon Valley" stars T.J. Miller as Erlich Bachman, Josh Brener as Nelson "Big Head" Bighetti, Martin Starr as Bertram Gilfoyle, Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh Chugtai, Zach Woods as Donald "Jared" Dunn and Amanda Crew as Monica Hall.

The comedy series was created by Mike Judge (who is also the mind behind MTV's "Beavis and Butt-head"), John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.

A release date has yet to be announced, but based on historical data, fans are hoping for an April premiere.
