Meri Barber denies she is harboring bad thoughts against Robyn Sullivan's pregnancy in the upcoming season of TLC's reality series "Sister Wives."

The reality star posted a lengthy message on Twitter for her fans, sharing her thoughts about the criticism she and her large family have encountered ever since Sullivan's pregnancy was made known. Yahoo reports that Barber chose to speak up regarding the "extreme hatred" being directed toward the new wife of husband Kody Brown.

"This extreme hate and negativity that I have seen concerning her and this baby is frankly, quite disgusting. I am very much looking forward to a new little Capricorn in January. My life has been blessed by them. You all know TV is edited to be the most compelling," said Barber.

Fans have expressed their disbelief that everything was well with the Brown family, especially after Barber decided to divorce her husband to give way to the adoption of Sullivan's children in her previous marriage. Enstarz reports that some even posted mean messages on social media, bullying Sullivan and calling her a home wrecker.

In the season 5 finale, Barber revealed her decision to divorce her husband of 24 years so that Brown and Sullivan could get married. This would mean the couple could now proceed with the adoption process of Sullivan's three kids. Barber herself told her the news and though she said she was happy, viewers could see that she was tearing up inside.

The actual signing of the divorce papers will be seen in the premiere episode of season 6. Despite her fears, Barber will push through with the finalization of documents. The other sister wives will also support her, but something will reportedly happen along the way. According to the synopsis released by TLC, the Brown family will find themselves "at a crossroads in their relationship."

"Sister Wives" will return on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
