In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed examines Reagan's role in the victory over communism within the context of mankind's continual fight against evil, including the current war on Islamic extremism.

Awarded "2004 Best Documentary" by the American Film Renaissance and Liberty Film Festival, the documentary sets out to the do the same interviews with top Reagan staffers and present the actual video clips of the former president.

"We use Ronald Reagan to tell a decent amount of the story in his own words," said co-director Tim Watkins, whose personal interest in and admiration for Reagan motivated him to produce the documentary. "We wanted to use as much of Ronald Reagan's words to show who Ronald Reagan was, not have people put words in his mouth."

Through his research on the former president, what Watkins said he found especially intriguing about Reagan was just how deeply spiritual he was.

"That spirituality was a fabric within him," noted the Catholic father of three. "I think that's something that if you didn't get into the life of Ronald Reagan you may not have ever known."
