"Sniper Elite 4" is set to arrive in February and will bring back its X-ray kill camera. Rebellion Developments, the game developer and publisher, also promises better AI that will always try to outsmart its players.

The "Sniper Elite" series is known for its see-through brutality will be back with its fourth installment to let gamers explore another place during World War II. Fans have already been taken to Berlin and North Africa. Now it is time to see Italy and assist the resistance force against the Fascists.

The X-Ray kill cam system will activate during long-distance sniper rifle kills. The game camera starts to follow the bullet once it leaves the barrel until it hits the target. It then shows body parts, bones and other internal body organs breaking into pieces or getting ruptured by bullets. It will now also activate for shrapnel kill, melee and stealth kills, Game Spot reported.

Games Radar mentioned that Rebellion lead creative Tim Jones explained during the E3 2016, "In 'Sniper Elite 3' we wanted to improve the stealth mechanics so you could actually behave more stealthily than it just devolving into a long range pop up shooter. That's fun, but we wanted to add more depth to it."

Jones added "This time around for Sniper Elite 4, we're just taking it to another level. We're improving and souping up every aspect of the game. Probably some of the most obvious things are the increase in scale of the environments. This offers up much more of the long range sniping that fans have been calling for and the nonlinear nature of things is being taken even further."

The game's artificial intelligence has also been improved. Players will notice that enemies will be able to react much faster to the actions made by players. When one enemy is killed, other enemies will start looking for the sniper player, the report added.

"Sniper Elite 4" is set to be released on Feb. 14, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
