Actress Sofia Vergara celebrated her 43rd birthday on Friday, July 10, and her close friends and family got together to celebrate her special day with a lot of surprises and gifts.

The "Modern Family" star was joined by her fiancé, Joe Manganiello, for a candle-lit dinner party. She posted 11 photos of the party on Instagram, starting with one taken at the start of the evening as she stood in her garden with the "True Blood" actor. He had his arm around her waist while he placed a tender kiss on her head. The actress wore a long yellow dress, while Manganiello wore a grey shirt and black pants. The shot was captioned, "Happy bdaaaay to me!!!"

Another shot showed the actress' dining table covered in a gold tablecloth and laid out with gold charger plates and candelabra.

"Little family bday dinner at [home]!" Vergara captioned the photo.

A third picture shows the actress smiling as she leaned over a table with six birthday cakes, which she captioned, "When your family knows what to get u for ur bday!"

The "Hot Pursuit" actress also shared a photo with her family as they sat around her table by the swimming pool, with her and Manganiello standing.

Aside from cakes, the actress got more presents from her family as her 22-year old son, Manolo, gave her a black glass goblet with the words "Birthday Girl" on it. A full mariachi band also came to serenade the birthday girl.

In a final photo, Vergara appears to be in a playful mood as she posed while drinking from the goblet. She wore a white shirt printed with a photoshopped picture of Manganiello looking like a centaur. She also donned a pink tiara and a pink "Birthday Princess" sash.

The couple is currently planning their wedding, and in a recent interview with Haute Living, the "Magic Mike" actor said that he's more than ready to tie the knot.

"I can't wait to get married and start a family," he said. "It's something that we talked about early on."
