Sony will be expanding its deals and promotions program for its console with the launch of the PlayStation Plus Specials. To be offered exclusively to PS Plus members, the new discounts and deals program would be offered much more frequently, maybe on a weekly basis, than the original monthly PS Plus deals.

The program, hopefully, will give players access to more genre of PlayStation titles, and will not be limited to old games. According to Chieh Chen, digital distribution manager for Sony Network Entertainment, the new specials is Sony's answer to fans' clamor.

Said Chen, "We've been listening to your feedback, and today I'm thrilled to announce PlayStation Plus Specials, our brand-new deals program offering exclusive discounts for PS Plus members on the newest games and add-ons. That's right, these deals will be available to PS Plus members only."

To start off the launch of the PS Plus Specials, Sony is offering the hit title "Bloodborne" for $47.99, which is the first time the recently-released title has been put up at a discount at the PlayStation Store.

Aside from "Bloodborne," other titles that are on sale for the PlayStation 4 are "Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin," "Helldivers Turning Up the Heat Edition," and "The Order: 1886." In addition, the recently-launched and highly successful "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is also discounted at $53.99.

The PS4 titles are also available at a discounted price for its PS3 counterparts, along with "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" and "Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires."

For the PS Vita, the titles that are currently on sale are "Helldivers Turning Up the Heat Edition," "Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart," and "Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines."

The discounted prices, which are slashed off by as much as 30 percent, are available until June 1.
