The Sony Xperia Z4v was initially reported to be headed over at Verizon Wireless back in June and was initially said to be out by summer.

With September fast ending and October around the corner, there is no sight of the Sony Xperia Z4v physically at least for most.

One user (iNoahTECH) was able to somehow get his hands on one and even posted a video about the device on YouTube. This is perhaps the closest that one could get close to the said device for now.

Take note as well that the device is not really among the highly touted devices one would really go for in the market. Just the same, the device does carry some decent specs that should appeal to select consumer electronic buffs.

The Sony Xperia Z4v features a 5.2-inch display (1440 x 2560 pixels) and is the company's first Quad HD smartphone. It comes with a premium finish complimented by a waterproof exterior which should help draw in some interest, particularly for the ones who place a premium on device design.

Internally, the Sony Xperia Z4v runs on a controversial Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. The processor is controversial in the sense that everyone has heard of overheating issues tied up to it, although it seems that such is not really a major problem for the said device.

This will be further supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD.

More to that, the device will also have a 3,000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery with built-in wireless charging options, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, which should render some high resolution quality photos and videos.

The device will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box as well as Xperia UI.
