Spain will try to avenge a tough 2–1 defeat last October to Slovakia as the nations meet again in the group stage of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) European Qualifiers this Saturday. 

The loss to Slovakia was the only defeat Spain suffered in their campaign, but this time they will be the one hosting the match which will be held at Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere. 

According to Bleacher Report, Spain is undefeated in 30 qualifiers held at home and they look to seize the advantage also with Slovakia having five suspended players. 

Spain is aiming to be on the top spot in Group C to better their chances of securing a berth at Euro 2016. 

So far they have 15 points and are second only to Saturday's opponent Slovakia who are on a six-match winning streak with 18 points. 

One of the players to look out for Spain in this match is goalkeeper David de Gea who has not played in Manchester United's previous games because of the transfer saga he was involved in. 

Since early in the summer, De Gea has been rumored to be heading to Real Madrid; but a reported transfer deal fell apart this week as the transfer window closed last Sept. 1. 

Meanwhile, Slovakia will have a tough test trying to keep their undefeated record because of their depleted lineup, with some of their players set to miss the match serving their suspensions. 

Among those suspended are nation's captain and Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel and midfielder Juraj Kucka.

Skrtel received a yellow card in their match against Macedonia which caused the ban. Meanwhile, Kucka has been a valuable contributor on offense for the Slovaks already netting two goals in their present campaign.
