Good news for fans and players waiting anxiously for the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" multiplayer online title – EA DICE has extended the open beta for one more day.

According to a post on the official "Star Wars" blog, publisher Electronic Arts announced that due to the massive positive feedback for the sneak preview of the upcoming title, the open beta for "Star Wars: Battlefront" has been extended for another 24 hours.

Originally, the open beta was scheduled to end yesterday. However, since EA DICE decided to make the test phase of development an open beta instead of a closed one, feedback from players has been massive, and the number of gamers who want to get a glimpse of the upcoming title has risen so high – particularly for PC players - to a point that the developer has had to add extra servers for the database.

Aside from collecting feedback, the one-day extension will also let developer DICE perform further tests in terms of technical aspects of the game. Hopefully, the 24-hour additional tests will iron out any kinks for the game's full release next month. Community manager Sledgehammer70 posted, "These tests are to help us find some extreme scenarios, and that means some players may experience occasional issues such as being kicked from the game or losing connectivity. This is all being done in the name of shoring up our infrastructure before we launch on November 17th."

In addition to extending the beta, Electronic Arts had also announced that the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" title will also have a Season Pass, which definitely confirms post-launch content for the game. In addition, there will also be an Ultimate Edition for the game that includes all items and content for the Deluxe Edition and Season Pass perks.

The rollout for the full game version of "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be on Nov. 17 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin.
