"Star Wars: Battlefront" has released and has managed to garner high ratings from players and critics alike. However, almost immediately after its Nov. 17 release, gamers discovered a game-breaking glitch that grants invincibility.

As stated in a report from Cinema Blend, the exact method of activating the glitch is still unknown, although it is heavily speculated that it is triggered after crashing a ship. One YouTube user explains in his video that it may have been triggered after the game's server glitches when respawning the character that died in the crash.

Once triggered, players are unable to die. They can still be shot and punched but their life bar will remain full. Given that "Star Wars: Battlefront" is a competitive multiplayer game this glitch can prove a disaster in terms of game balance and fair play.

The report also cites that this glitch is not just seen in one area but has also been achieved in multiple maps, indicating that the game itself is broken instead of just one map having a respawning issue. To make matters worse, the report points out that this very invincibility glitch was already noted during the game's beta testing period.

However, the beta testing period was only last October and it is likely that developer DICE is already working on a patch to fix the problem or may have at least been able to notice that it exists.

According to Escapist Magazine, one player that experienced the glitch did note that the game goes back to normal in the next game but as long as the player is in the map, he will remain invincible and cannot even kill themselves to remove the problem. The only means possible is to quit the current match.

DICE has yet to officially comment about the glitch or announce if a patch is indeed on the way.
