Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) – the heroine that saved Hawkins from the Demorgogon – might not be returning in "Stranger Things" season 2. But a new girl is coming to town who might bring new adventures to Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) and the gang.

In the season finale of "Stranger Things" season 1, Eleven exhausted her powers to destroy the monster from the Upside Down — or the Demogorgon as Mike and his friends called it — from devouring them and the rest of Hawkins. She has not been seen since, but Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) left her some of her favorite Eggos and a few other treats in the woods during the holidays. This leads to speculations that Eleven is in hiding but alive and well and will show up soon in "Stranger Things" season 2.

However, during an interview with Lorraine, Brown revealed that she was not sure if she will still be part of the cast for season 2 of "Stranger Things." Even series creators Matt and Ross Duffer are uncertain of Eleven's return.

"We leave that up in the air," Ross said in an interview with E! News. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast including Mike, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Caleb (Lucas Sinclair), Will (Noah Schnapp), will be returning for "Stranger Things" season 2.

A new girl is coming to Hawkins, and her name is Max. TV Line reports that Max is described as a "tough and confident" teen girl who acts more like a boy than a girl at the time of the 1980s. She has an edgy personality and Max uses a skateboard to get around town.

In Netflix's announcement of "Stranger Things" season 2, the episode titles were revealed and the first one is called "Madmax." It is possible that Max will be the new girl to join Mike and the gang if Eleven indeed does not return.

Two new other characters will be introduced in the upcoming second installment. Max's Camaro-driving older brother, Billy, and a man in seek of revenge, Roman.
