Two new warriors are ready for a hyper throwdown in "Street Fighter 5." The pair of characters, who seasoned fans of the wildly popular fighter series are very familiar with, were revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo with a gameplay trailer showing the two in their astonishing reimagined glory.

Cammy and Birdie recently made their debut by pouncing on Bison and Ryu in an epic, fast-moving battle. Cammy used her signature Spiral Arrow move as she gave her opponent a beatdown while Birdie callously battered his foe, throwing Ryu on the floor. These two are the fifth and sixth characters in the "Street Fighter 5" lineup.

Cammy is almost exactly the same as she was back in the two-decade old "Super Street Fighter 2," where she debuted and was easily loved by fans. Her V-Trigger allows her to release after-images, like replications of herself, to hit the opponent multiple times all at the same time. Her V-Skill is the iconic Spin Knuckle and utilizes more of her speed to cross up and advance on her opponents without them even realizing it. "Street Fighter 5" retains her legendary attacks such as the Canon Spike and Canon Strike.

Birdie, on the other hand, has never been more forbidding when he debuted in "Street Fighter Alpha 3." He eats a hot pepper to turn into an enflamed beast and cause bigger damage. The fighter's love for food comes in handy once more. He can gobble up a banana and toss the peel into the enemy's way so they would slip. He can also slurp an energy drink and throw the can onto the opponent for added damage and eat a donut simply to feed his big hungry tummy.

Meanwhile, the "Street Fighter 5" beta for PS4 players will begin on June 23. Those who want to take part will have to sign up here. The highly-anticipated game will be released next year.
