A new patch for "Street Fighter 5" will be helping to promote better gameplay and security for the title.

The new update, known as patch 1.02, has two primary goals.

The first goal of patch 1.02 is to help improve the matchmaking logic inside "Street Fighter 5." With so much of what the new "Street Fighter" game is promising dependent on being able to provide players with a seamless and enjoyable experience of playing online with friends or other fans, it is obviously important that this element is executed properly. By improving the matchmaking logic inside "Street Fighter 5," patch 1.02 can now help make the gaming experience better for everyone involved.

Another stated goal of patch 1.02 is to provide a better login process for "Street Fighter 5," according to Yibada. Security is always among the foremost issues to playing games online, so the ability to provide a more secure logging in system would seem to help "Street Fighter 5" immensely.

In related news, "Street Fighter 5's" recent appearance at Gamescom looks as though it was successful, at least in the eyes of some gamers.

Several fans were on hand for the "Street Fighter 5" setup at Gamescom, and many of them were able to provide their own thoughts and opinions about the upcoming game.

According to Moviepilot, a majority of the fans who were able to see "Street Fighter 5" in action at the event had only positive things to say about it. Many fans indicated that they had a good time with "Street Fighter 5," with some even saying that they would have loved to have stayed for the whole length of the event.

Some of the fans at Gamescom also compared "Street Fighter 5" to its predecessor, "Street Fighter 4," although whether that comment is negative or positive can be a subjective issue.
