Fans who have been waiting for any bit of news regarding "Street Fighter 5" will finally get what they are looking for at this year's Comic-Con.

The people behind "Street Fighter 5" have already promised to reveal significant news about the fighting game at the annual event, and they will also feature an array of different panelists.

As of now, Capcom's Francis Mao has been tabbed to moderate the panel, with the game's executive producer, Yoshinori Ono also set to be part of the proceedings.

Aside from the two high-ranking officials making an appearance at the "Street Fighter 5" panel, some "Street Fighter Experts" are also expected to be part of the event, according to Gamespot.

Capcom has offered little in the way of specific details regarding the game, and they have maintained the same approach in advance of the upcoming event. With just days to go before Comic-Con, all Capcom has promised is that there will be surprises in store for the San Diego audience.

Apart from news about "Street Fighter 5," more details about the Capcom Pro Tour competitive gaming event are also expected to be announced during the Comic-Con presentation. New "Street Fighter" merchandise is also expected to be unveiled at the event.

Capcom breaking news at Comic-Con is nothing new, as the gaming giant has routinely used the platform as a launching pad for some of their biggest releases. In the past, Capcom has used the Comic-Con stage to break news about their live-action adaptation of "Street Fighter" as well as to provide updates about ongoing projects, according to Polygon.

In related news, Capcom has officially announced that "Street Fighter 5" will be exclusive to the PC and Playstation 4, according to Gamezone.

Fans who want to be the first in the world to try out "Street Fighter 5" will need to have the right platforms ready when the game is released in 2016.
