Sony and Capcom has come out with good news for gamers who are eagerly awaiting "Street Fighter V." Though no actual date was mentioned just yet, gamers can sign up for the online beta version of "Street Fighter V" which can be played on the PS4 and PC.

But in order for players to sign on, they must pre-order the game first. Per the announcement, the game is raved to be one of the 'largest and most ambitious online beta programs in franchise history' which should give gamers a glimpse of what the long-running video game from Capcom has to offer.

In a related development, it was also revealed that there will be a new character inserted in "Street Fighter V." Though he is not necessarily someone new, Charlie Nash will make a return into the Street Fighter V lineup.

The character Nash is said to be a best friend of Guile before running into M.Bison and supposedly killed in Street Fighter Alpha II.

Though he wasn't necessarily a versatile and easy to use character, Nash will return with improved abilities. Previously not known as a combo character, Charlie Nash will be quick and is now armed with amazing new combos, most notably a dangerous diving sonic kick.

Aside from that, Nash will have two special abilities, the Sonic Boom and teleport. Capcom says that if played right, Nash carries some special abilities which could hint that there are more abilities yet to be discovered from the resurrected character.

With a much improved character, folks who are eager to play the game may want to just pre-order and lineup for possible inclusion in the online beta offering. Sadly, there is no word when the online beta gameplay would be kicking off so stay tuned. For the time-being, here is a glimpse of Charlie Nash.
