Sunday Night Football preview: Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers

Sunday Night Football will see the Chicago Bears take on the Green Bay Packers tonight with a lot at stake for both teams.

The big SNF game takes place at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin and will start at 8.30 p.m. EDT. The game will also be broadcast on the NBC network but can also be watched online through live stream - free for subscribers - via the link provided below.

The Bears come into this week's game on 3-5, where as the Packers are doing significantly better on 5-3, and will come into this game as big favorites in front of their home fans.

The Packers have had time to regather their thoughts and rest after falling to a bad defeat against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8 after previously going on a four game win streak recently.

That bye week will also have done quarterback Aaron Rodgers a world of good as he has been trying to recover from a hamstring injury. Despite losing 23-44 to the Saints, Rodgers threw for a season high 418 yards even while carrying his injury. Now he has had a few weeks to recover he should be feeling much better and will hope to maintain that excellent form.

If the Packers can get the better of the Bears today it will be Chicago's fifth loss in six games and could signal the end of their postseason hopes.

The Bears are also coming into today's game on the back of a bye week. They will also have enjoyed a break having been destroyed 23-51 by the New England Patriots in Week 8.

Jay Cutler helped his team register three touchdowns against the Patriots - two coming after the Bears trailed 45-7 - but also showed inconsistent form by committing another two turnovers. He is having a difficult time this season and has had 12 of the Bears' 15 turnovers, including nine of their 11 turnovers in their recent 1-4 stretch.

He will have to do significantly better today if the Bears are going to take down the Packers.
