"Super Smash Bros" is an awesome game as you have all your favorite Nintendo game characters all in one place. And now, it's coming to 3DS and Wii U, but when?

This will be the first time that the game will debut on a handheld system and everyone is just so excited. The release date for "Super Smash Bros" 4 for 3DS will be on Oct. 3, 2014. This is already a delayed release date. What about the Wii U version?

It's not new news that the Wii U version will come later, yet, there's still no word as to when it will officially come out. But one thing is certain, the release date for the Wii U version wasn't affected by the delay for the 3DS.

In the recent E3, everyone got a look at "Super Smash Bros" 4; new characters were introduced. According to Venture Beat, players can now enjoy seeing Pacman, Chrom and Cranky Kong in "Super Smash Bros" 4. However, Sora, Battletoads and Chrono are unlikely to be included in the game. Mr. Game & Watch will be the official mascot of the game.

What are the other new things in the game? First, there will be a visual timer. The timer will indicate how much time you need to wait before rejoining. Next, there is a new item called Rocket Belt. It offers limited flight abilities. Third, players will emit steam, a visual cue that a character is already highly damaged. Last, Ike will have a new attack action called Eruption, which deals a lot of damage if charged high. But it can hurt Ike if it's overcharged.

Game N Guide reports the latest update on "Super Smash Bros" 4. When the player taps on the bottom screen of the game, the character will be highlighted on the combat screen.
